What a glorious spring day in Gosford on Saturday! Wherever you were, I truly hope you were able to enjoy the sunshine and warmth. At the extended ‘Spring Fest’ Markets in Kibble Park there really was a festival atmosphere.
At one stage I thought the breeze had blown over someones stand, but when I looked around it was a couple of medieval knights clashing sword against shield in a mock battle to entertain on-lookers. They were from a stall promoting a new book.
At the Create Innovate stall we had displays from all five of our current projects, showcasing current activities and products. Steve, aka Skubz, from Ghost Empire was in the park producing a mural demonstrating his aerosol skills. A couple of times during the day kids would come to watch and declare their devotion as fans of ‘Skubz’. Steve has been to local primary schools talking and demonstrating his modern art and design skills. His finished work is displayed in his shop window in Waterfall Arcade, Gosford.
Hopefully the markets in Gosford will continue to grow as will the involvement of the Create Innovate projects as we endeavour to engage further in the community and bring a creative flavour to our town.
